Default Found: Trekking Poles at Fox Creek Trailhead

Picked them up today - Tuesday, May 29.

This is the Fox Creek Trailhead parking area on Rte. 603 in Virginia, in the Mt. Rogers area.

Happy to ship them to the owner.

I recall leaving my sticks at a creek crossing like that, it may be the same one. I stopped for water, and started walking on, and also drinking some of the water. In a short, put the water away and started to really get into the hiking and I felt something was missing. My hands now had nothing to do. I went back and there they were stuck into the ground where I left them and walked off.

Yeah, I almost did the same on the hike that took me through this place. I put mine in the ground and went to check on something from my map. Then I went back to talk to my hiking partner, turned to walk and felt very weird. I felt like Ricky Bobby, didn't know what to do with my hands. Looks like these were leaning against a car as they were loading and got forgotten as they pulled away, the way they were laying next to each other, still extended.
