Is Tom Levardi still doing his thing in Dalton?

Yes, but in a much more limited way.

I would check with Dave Ackerson [email protected], or Silva Cassano [email protected] for shuttles. If you get stuck, PM me.

You can also try Vic LaPort in Clarksburg. He's on White Blaze listing.

Tom’s doing fine, and still welcomes hikers. Just trying to dial it back a bit.

I camped there for one night 2 weeks ago. There were about 10 backpackers there, some in tents, some on the porch, including one person in a hammock. He also was shuttling a few of them. I don't know what he used to do, but he did ask everyone to be quiet at night, to not disturb his neighbors, and of course, use the bathroom facilities at Cumberland Farms. Very nice of him, and it really helped me out, after a long day of hiking, not to have to hike any further miles to find a campsite.
Just love being outside, not sure why. 765 AT miles done (2014-2018), many more to go.
