    Default Brooks Cascadia 12

Do you like their underfoot protection on rocky, root-filled hikes? Does its "rock plate" actually reduce the impact on the bottom of your foot when hiking on rocky sections with a 25lb pack?

    Thanks

I'm still on 10's, but the rock plate does make a significant difference on sharp edges.
