Default Looking for Ride to Flag Mt Trailhead

Thinking of doing the Pinhoti Trail and wondered if there was anyone who could help get us from Sylacauga or Weogufka to Flag Mt Trailhead. There's just 2 of us - 50+ year old husband & wife team with no dog(s). Thanks

Not sure if you do FaceBook but there are a couple of Pinhoti groups there that might be able to help you out. Additionally, mentioning when you need a ride would be helpful as well. I am headed to Flagg to start a section but not until later in the month.

The caretaker may still be at Flagg and could pick you up easy from Weogufka. But why can't you get all the way to Flagg if you get as close as Weogufka? If caretaker is not there, I understand concerns about leaving a valuable, new vehicle up at Flagg. Sorry, I don't know (caretaker) Nimblewill's schedule.

Thanks for all your input! A shuttle has been arranged.

Just an FYI, the reason we could not get from Weogufka to the trail head is that we are using a car rental agency and once we drop off our one-way rental car in Sylacauga, they could only take us as far as Weogufka.
