    They help pulling out stubbornly stuck stakes. Slide another stake through the loop and you have a sturdy pull handle.

    The he loops on mine are reflective so it helps highlight stakes and the corners of your tent.

    I have owned a set of fancy titanium stakes for years, but I have never used the stekes. I keep finding abandoned lightweight tent stakes along the trail. Sometimes picking up litter really pays off.

    I've enjoyed using the Zpacks Sonic Stakes. They're very light and have held up well with my Gossamer Gear The One so far.
