Just a quick update for Wind Gap, PA...the Gateway Motel is open again, newly rennovated (but don't get your hopes too high) - they have wifi, the rooms are clean, and just 100 yards off the trail. Their phone number is: 610-881-6045. I don't know about water or shuttle services locally, but "Mechanical Man" can probably hook you up depending where you want to head to:. 610-428-1165.

If it has reopened does that mean it has new ownership that is friendly to hikers again? I remember it used to be hiker friendly, then got an owner who was hostile to hikers. I hope it welcomes hikers again because it is so convenient to the trail.
