If you were going to hike a section of the AT next week, what section would you do? And why do you choose it? 😀

Shenandoah, cause it’s beautiful, has a lot of wildlife, waysides allow you to carry little food weight and also one of the easiest stretches and I’m not in thru hiker shape anymore

Thank you!
NJ/NY. Seriously, it's actually a pretty nice stretch.
I would do my best to wait for May to do a section how ever I am doing my first section of the year st pattys day weekend so we will alllll hope for the best
OP is stating next week......So why would NJ/ NY be a recommendable option when they are in the midst of a massive snow storm?

Trail Miles: 4,980.5
AT Map 1: Complete 2013-2021
Sheltowee Trace: Complete 2020-2023
Pinhoti Trail: Complete 2023-2024
Foothills Trail: 47.9
AT Map 2: 279.4
BMT: 52.7
CDT: 85.4
All of them.
Termite fart so much they are responsible for 3% of global methane emissions.
I'd go south from Troutville,VA to the VA/TN border, or as far as one can make it. Tinker cliffs, McAfee Knob, Dragon's Tooth, Dismal falls, and if you've got lots of time, Grayson Highlands (ponies?!). Weather forecast isn't too shabby either...
Yeah, that was stupid advice. I was reading "next week" in the rhetorical, not literal sense.
