Recent photo, this week, of the mid Point sign on the AT on Instagram. 1,000+ miles in the 4th week of April.

Does the Lemmon Squeezer ring a bell? Anish is north of there.

2 months. Over 1600 miles on the AT.
Vicinity of Glastonbury Mountain. She’s moving to another trail.

Unconfirmed report of her bailing on the AT and moving to the CDT. Would make sense given the low snow in SW Colorado.
enemy of unnecessary but innovative trail invention gadgetry
Photos yesterday from the VT-NH state line on a bridge. Saying good bye to the AT until later.
Go Anish!
After reading Jennifer Pharr Davis' new book, "The Pursuit of Endurance," I have new respect for Anish and wish her well.

I was passed (like I was standing still ) by her BF/"support crew" Pistachio at the northernmost hiker register of the Mid State Trail (MST) last week: Anish got to NH way too early in the season and so headed west to the CDT; she'll be back to finish NH and ME later. Pistachio was just finishing up a 9-day(!) thru-hike of the MST and is planning to join up with her next week.
1748 miles of the AT in 2 months. Holy crap, this lady is incredible
Would have liked to see her complete a trail and deal with the humps from doing that before moving on to the next, but I guess that's her call.
It is what it is.
Probably a better outcome that she didn't go that route.
thanks for sharing
Heather finished the PCT sometime in the last week according to a typical Instagram post and photos.

Wow.
More wow.
Wow.
Hopefully she is flying SOBO on the CDT as I type.
Go ANISH!
