Looks to me as if I'm forced to agree to paying $10/month in 30 days?!!!

If that's true, I'd really rather not get these "free" posts at all.

You could sign up for Kindle Unlimited if you want but there is no need to.
Just purchase the book for $0

On my laptop just now, it does appear that way. But on my actual Kindle, the only choice appeared to be a button that said I was agreeing to $10/mo.

I have an old kindle so I can’t recreate this. But just curious - are you on your Kindle and you click on the link in the OP and it then only shows $10/month?

I tried to download. Free with the paid subscription @ 9.99/ month kindle unlimited. This has a free 30 day trial. This is not free in my opinion. Should rename heading “ free if you subscribe to kindle unlimited, $10/ month”

these teasers frustrate me. I use an I pad if that makes a difference. I use a library app which is “free” to residence who are assumed to pay taxes. I pay taxes..

    It was free for me.

For some reason the link is skipping a step for some people.

That is strange, but not the fault of the OP.

Ive picked up a lot of these books. Never subscribed and never needed to.
