    Default SMD serenity bug shelter

Brand new never used. I bought two, one was going to be for a hiking partner. No longer needed.

The stuff sack that SMD provides is heavy/overkill. I have a much nicer lighter stuff sack from one of my quilts I keep it in instead. I got rid of the SMD stuff sack as it was too heavy.

Goes great inside a mid style tarp.

This is the newest model with the higher walls. Bought in fall 2017.

    $75 shipped PayPal.

Is that a solo or duo?

    It's the solo sized.

I use my other one under a hexamid tarp.

I'll grab an exact weight when I get home to my scale.

    It's around 11ounces.

That's a great price for a sweet piece of gear.

If this is setup in a mid, do you hang the top of the shelter from the pole that holds up the mid? Meaning it has some type of hand loop? Also, does the floor need to be seam sealed?

I never seam sealed my other one and havent had any issues with water coming in. At the same time, I've never set mine up in a puddle but have slept in the rain many times with it. This net is brand new and still has that brand new silnylon smell to it.

There is a hang loop at the peak of the inner net. There is also a hang loop at the peak of my hexamid. I just clip them together, there's a mitten hook. No need to use the tent pole to hang from.

If using a cuben fiber mid you could get one of the stick on loops from Zpacks and then could clip the innernet anywhere, but most mids I know have a hang loop at the peak.

I have a two different stuff sacks and I'll include either one. One is for a top quilt that can easily fit the innernet and a mid without struggle. The other is a little smaller and could fit both again but would be a more brick like when stuffed. I prefer oversized stuff sacks myself. They pack better.
