And for cold feet that take forever to warm up---drop a couple hot hands warming pouches in these "booties" and your feet are good to go.

    I use blackrock down mitts.

    But back to booties...

I learned years ago hunting, and still true for me, when my hands or feet are ALREADY cold, putting on gloves or bootiies just keeps them cold longer. Extremeties warm up faster in my bag/quilt if I dont use booties. Put them on once feet have warmed up, and they stay warmer from then on. Wear them on cold feet, takes much longer to warm feet up.

I usually go to sleep cold if really chilled, wake up 2 hrs later nice and warm again. My body warms slowly.

I had a drill sergeant who used to say, "Take your gloves off; your feet wont' freeze." As they say, he thought he was a wit and he was half right.

How do these fit? I wear US mens 12 and I'm worried the large will be too snug
