Default 2018 AWOL Guide - Out Yet?

I keep checking Amazon and googling the AWOL 2018 AT Guide to see if it is available yet. So far, no luck. I know it's supposed to be out this month (January). Anyone have any further information? I have plenty of time before I hit the trail, but I'm still anxious to have a look.

I think I saw them post that they would be shipping in the next week or so.

I preordered mine in November and I have been checking my account. Today was a general heading notice that the NOBO addition is being finished and preparing to ship starting January 28th.

I've noticed over the past couple weeks that the printed version keeps getting delayed. One day I checked and the countdown box said 2 days, the next day I checked it said 5 days and so on. I received my PDF download version already.

    From the AntiGravity Gear Website:

Quick related question: We have the 2013 AWOL, and plan on doing a section from Daleville to Pen Mar (or wherever we wind up) this April. Would it make sense to buy a 2018 AWOL? I'm thinking I don't really need it having 2013 should be fine, knowing there will be a few changes. Having used it for an entire AT, I have a real attachment to my torn and tattered (and ripped into various sections) 2013 version....

I would guess that as long as you were aware that things may have changed and not rely too much on the services info, a 2013 guide would still work.

Thanks to all for the info on the AWOL guide availability. Looks like it will be out next week, so I'll grab it then.

Does anyone get the downloadable .pdf file? It appears to be available now. I've been considering buying that version. Seems like it might be handy to carry on my phone, and print out just the section i am hiking.

I ordered the combo with both the printed and pdf versions. I like being able to pull it up on my phone or computer, especially while at home planning a trip or looking something up without having to go get the paper copy. Lazy, yes, but very convenient.

I'm ready to order my guide and I want to get both the book and PDF. There used to be a discount for doing so, but I don't see any mention of a discount on the web site. Do you or anyone else have info on a possible discount for purchase of both versions?

I thought at one time there was a price break on ordering together, but I didn’t see it either. It was one reason why I just preordered the book. Speaking of the book I received mine in the mail today and know that others have received theirs as well. Stupid yes, but got so excited that I did a quick vid on my channel.

I had posted on the AT Guide Facebook page about the combo (book & PDF) pricing and just received this response today:

"The A.T. GuideDuring presales they were both 15% off which equals our usual discount on the book/pdf combo. I believe the combo discount will return shortly."
