Default How’s the snow levels looking so far for mid June CT?

Debating picking up my thru where I bailed last July in Breckenridge mid June verses waiting till September and restarting...I guess would be a thru with few hundred zeros....can’t imagine doing that first 104 mediocre miles again...

In recent years Colorado got dumped on in May. Maybe even early June. The year that CDT NOBO folks had to bypass Colorado.
Long story short: It’s too early to tell. Watch the weather in May.
Don’t overlook: Flying to Durango and returning from Breckinridge/Denver. Or a one way car rental to Durango and hike to Breckinridge.
    Good luck!

Pretty pathetic (good for you) snow year so far, but of course that's zero indication as March is heaviest snow month, followed by April. Mid or even early june works many years starting from Denver, from Breck, you'll probably have some snow to navigate. We do a lot of snow climbing in April and May in that area, I'll have eyes on and if you remind me, I'll report in.

Here is a link to graphs for the different basins in Colorado. You can run them and get up to date info to see how the snowpack is doing. Pretty miserable in the south so far this year.

Pathetic year so far for snow, good for hikers, but way way to early to tell as the really snowy months (Feb-April) are yet to come.
