I'll be glad when it finally reaches 2200, so I can stop telling people it's "almost" or "nearly" 2200 miles long.

I adjusted my spreadsheet based on the new milage in Guthooks and gained 0.4 to my total without leaving Florida.

From what I can tell: Georgia is now 0.3 shorter, coming in at 77.9. 0.2 of the loss was between Woody and Neels.

The distance between Stocoah and the NOC has increased by 0.5 since I hiked it.

There also seems to be 0.1 added somewhere between Standing Bear and Hot Springs.

Some changes appear to be adjusting the milage of a shelter location. There is no net change, but if you stayed there then your daily milage adjusts for both days but overall nothing changes.

I have only done 20% so far, so there are other changes along the way to account for the extra mile this year.

2190.9 + the 8.8 of the Approach, so close now for the 2200

True, but blue blaze trails are not included in the total mileage. If they were, the total mileage would easily be over 2300.

Not sure how the formatting will look, but these are the changes from 2017 to 2018. I suspect that some of these are corrections and not re-routes.
