Default Road hike by Shallowford Bridge?

Just curious about the 4 mile road hike around Shallowford Bridge. Is this section on dirt road or is this asphalt hiking? Pretty Busy roads or quiet?

As I remember, it's asphalt until shortly before turning back into the woods, but not very busy. At least it wasn't on the day that I walked through there.

The first part along the river before crossing the bridge is definitely not busy, but you're on more of a main road after you cross the bridge and turn right.

These photos were taken between Fall Branch Falls and Shallowford Bridge. If I remember correctly (hiking sobo), the road immediately exiting from the falls is gravel then becomes asphalt. Once I figured out which way to go, it was a pleasant, early morning walk with breakfast and coffee enjoyed at Shallowford bridge.
