Perfect time of year to explore the lower elevation areas that can be too wet/boggy/overgrown in the spring and summer.

I plan to be bushwhacking tomorrow. It will take bit before the really wet boggy stuff firms up. Plus its hunting season so I try to stay away from the lowlands.

With all the rain recently the wet, boggy areas are really wet and boggy right now. An inch of wet snow doesn't help. It actually warmed up to 43 late last night before suddenly dropping to 19 when the front roared in and dropped an inch of wet snow.
