Thread: B2 US Visa

    Default B2 US Visa

    I had my interview today.

It took two hours all told. 1hr 55mins queuing and 5 mins talking to the man.

    However I am approved.

I can't believe how many people they turn away for simple errors.

Make sure you don't refer to the US as "the Colonies". ;-)

Another hurdle jumped. Did you get your Canadian permit?

It's a piece of cake...if you have a clean record.

    Not sure about that.

I would imagine if you are in your twenties, not married, not skilled with no hiking experience or money, it might be tricky

Lots of people lie. It may seem that they're being ticky-tack but the adjudicator is trying to determine if your story is basically true or not. It's the tiniest details that can flush out a bogus tale.

Getting the entry permit was simple. The only people that had issues had drunk driving records or other serious court issues. Since both the UK and Canada live under the iron heel of the Queen it should go smooth, no?
