People have different belief systems. Some people handle grief in different ways, particularly if it is a close family member. How one might react to the death of a brother, sister, father, mother, son, or daughter is hard to say. You can put the thread on ignore, or simply choose not to read it. And certainly no one is forcing you to read and post to it.

Call all he wanta but he can't call me..."

One of my best friends in high school lost his younger sister he was close to in car accident when 16. He was never the same. We couldnt get him to go anywhere, do anything anymore for next several years. Some people have really difficult time with loss. If someone tries to find something positive in it by sharing, that OK. When doors close, others open , for everyone.

    Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your posts. These threads may resonate with some however not all.

Continuation of Gerry's spiritual path (some sci-tech background):

There is science behind the baby steps that have been outlined in previous posts (pathway to neuroplasticity). Science indicates that using your physical senses to describe and sense a color will enable your mind to produce different brain waves. These brain waves allow us to interact (or not) with whatever is around us, including nature. In regular day to day activities, most of us produce beta brain waves. Using baby steps described in previous posts can help get us to alpha brain waves where we can integrate our right and left brains, sense and interact with our surroundings. This is the purpose of the baby steps, to get us to the state where we can, as electromagnetic generators, to interact with other electromagnetic generators. Note however, that not all electromagnetic resonators will harmonize with our electromagnetic state. More on this later......

Just keep practicing the baby steps, and note the progression from beta to alpha brain waves in the image below. ♥

Continuation of Gerry's spiritual path (more sci-tech background):

The heart is the largest EMF generator in the human body.
Here's a link that describes this further (under HEART FACTS) as well as interaction with the brain:

    More sci-tech info:

SQUID (Superconducting Quantum Interference Device) magnetometers have used to determine the magnetic field strength of the heart and the brain - the heart's magnetic field is about 100 times stronger than the brain's, and the heart's electrical field is about 60 times stronger than the brain's.

    https://www.heartmath.org/research/r...etween-people/

So, what's the correlation between this information and Gerry's baby steps? Practicing the baby steps helps you to regulate/control the EMF of both the heart and the brain, and to bring their output frequencies in to coherence, to work together, and to be more adaptive to whatever is in a person's environment (including elements of nature, the earth, etc.).

So, keep practicing the baby steps. Practice until you can do the color sequence to the nature spot and the reverse color sequence easily, and within a few seconds - until it becomes a habit (takes roughly 30 days of consistent practice to entrench a habit). Remember that you need to use all 5 physical senses to experience each color and the nature spot.

There are more baby steps following these preliminary baby steps which will be shared in the future.

    Add-on to Gerry's baby steps.

Before doing the color sequence, be sure to be in a relaxed state (muscles are not tensed up). Progressive muscle relaxation is one of many techniques that can help you quickly relax all your muscles so that you can then remove barrier to getting in to the alpha state and your nature spot. Again, with practice, progressive muscle relaxation can be done in a few seconds just by thinking about it or by calling up your routine for progressive relaxation.

So, now you can practice the baby steps with this add-on.

    More later on baby steps.

    Gerry's spiritual path.

Lessons, exercises and practices to start you on your spiritual path:
    Baby steps
Step #4 - Creating your Mind Studio

Time to build your Mind Studio. What's a Mind Studio? It's a structure that you've created in your imagination to be used when you're in alpha mode (generating alpha brainwaves). A Mind Studio is different than a Mind Palace (for all you Sherlock Holmes fans) which is used to recall memories and experiences. A Mind Studio can be used to harmonize left/right brains, recognize other energy patterns around you (other people, animals, nature, earth structures, etc.), make new neural pathways, enable you to train for and do better at hiking, etc.

Use your imagination and five physical senses to build your Mind Studio.
Your Mind Studio can be located anywhere (on a mountain, under water, in a tree, on a different planet, wherever). It can be constructed of any materials you imagine. It's your Mind Studio, yours to connect to and use. Take the time to build it and try it out, if you want to change something about it, now's the time before we start using it. The more detail you have in your mind studio, the more it will work for you.

Your mind studio needs to include the following:
    1. a entrance/door that only you know about
    2. an office area (desk & chair, notepad & pen, clock, calendar, phone, screen)
    3. a healing area including any items you identify as helpful to you for recovery (who hasn't had blisters, sore feet from hiking ???)
    4. a recreation area for sports, hobbies, relaxation
    5. a library (books, recordings, etc.)
    6. optional (for business types) - a business meeting area (flip chart or writing board, meeting table & chairs)
    7. any other area that you would like to add to it

And, keep practicing the muscle relaxation and the first 3 baby steps! More later on how to use your Mind Studio. Nameste ♥

    Gerry's spiritual path.

Lessons, exercises and practices to start you on your spiritual path (adventure, journey):
    Baby steps
Step #5 - Installing an access device (entrance/exit) to your Mind Studio

While you're in the process of creating your Mind Studio, here's another must-have to install:
an access device to your Mind Studio (such an elevator, sliding door, etc.)

Why do you need an access device? This is for visitors to your Mind Studio since they won't be using your entrance/door that only you know about. This access device gives you the choice to let visitors in, lets you unplug from the craziness and over-stimulation of your outside world.

The access device needs to have a control button or panel that lets you know when you have visitors (could be a ring-tone, bell, etc.). You can decide whether or not to give them access so build in something that you can use to let visitors in (such as a button to open an elevator door). After you open the access device to let visitors in, when the visitors step out/in to your Mind Studio, they will be showered with white light for a few seconds - this purifies them so that they don't bring any contamination in to your Mind Studio. Also, when your visitors are ready to leave, they pass under the white light shower before exiting through your access device.

Keep working on the construction of your Mind Studio. There will be a few other installations required before you begin to use it when you're in alpha state. Nameste ♥

Excellent - its like sitting at one of the meetings where you just assumed that no one wanted to be there but had to - until you come to the horrifying realization that someone does believe it.

I found some value in the thread - I think my second career will be a spiritual hiking coach with webinar and personal coaching available, as well as magical insole powders and special trekking pole tips that grounds ones "trekking spirit" (r) with Gaia's magnetic aura (all ultralight, of course).

So look, The OP is trying to pass on the memories and beliefs, I'll say honor, her late loved one who died on this trail that we all love. After Parkside died in Pierce pond on his thru hike, a group of us raised a toast in his honor while his parents were there at Lakeshore House spreading the importance on water safety. It's how they wanted to help deal with their grief. Anyone there could have chosen not to toast, or not to listen to his family. But, what a complete Ahole move it would have been to ridicule them or make fun of them for their choosing to do so. Not the time or place. Don't like the message being shared? Walk away. Or do you just absolutely have to be disrespectful to someone in mourning? Someone trying to help. Is that getting you anywhere? Do you feel better about yourself after posting such witty comments? What is your reason for contributing on this thread?

Thanks, Offshore and Putts for your comments.

Gerry's legacy, to share what he learned during his life with others, and to teach/guide them. You can check out his videos on youtube or his web site.

There's value in everything, whether it's to innovate, to balance out the duality that exists on earth, to reach out and connect with others. Not everyone has the same learning curve or path in life - Ahimsa - no judgement.

Interestingly, Offshore, you've already tapped in to some of the "future" possibilities. By ultralight, I'm assuming that you're referring to something being light in weight, however, there is also ultralight, wavelengths that the human eye doesn't see however people can perceive these wavelengths. How do humans use ultralight?

The science behind the posts (Gerry was an engineer, I'm in to science):
    1. Method of loci (been around for thousands of years); evolved to neuroscience and neuroplasticity (check out some of the brain scans of people who meditate vs those who don't; recovery from injury/trauma and re-wiring the brain)
    2. Wavelengths - we have instrumentation to measure these, we can scan in to outer space
    3. Wavelengths that are not visible to the human eye however we use them in current technology - cell phones, radio & telecomm. x-rays, etc.

Thank you, again, Offshore and Putts for your comments. Ahimsa - no judgement.

Many aspects to hiking and trails as you can tell from the categories/topics of threads. Try searching on WB for love, soul, heart, celebrate, joy, meditative, meditation, religion, belief, spiritual, magic, stars, wonder, wisdom, beauty, time slows down, ghosts, spooky, minister, wonder .... there are many threads on WB that include these words.

Hiking has a spiritual aspect to it, no doubt about it!

    Gerry's spiritual path.

Lessons, exercises and practices to start you on your spiritual path (adventure, journey):
    Baby steps
Step #6 - Going to/from your Mind Studio

How do you get to your Mind Studio? By taking the steps that connect your nature scene to your Mind Studio.

    Here's another must-have to construct:
Use to imagination to construct steps leading from your nature scene to you Mind Studio (between 5 and 21 steps in total). The steps can go up/down, around, be over/under something else, and these steps lead you directly to your secret entrance. Use your 5 physical senses to fully describe your steps. Each step can be unique. Your steps can resemble something on Earth, or not.

Next, practice using your steps, using your 5 physical senses. You can do this in your imagination, however, if you mimic the movements using your body, you'll have a stronger ability to connect your nature scene to your Mind Studio when you are using all 5 senses.Test out your steps, and modify, if necessary.

Continue to practice your muscle relaxation and the first 3 baby steps. Refine the construction of your Mind Studio.

    Gerry's spiritual path.

Lessons, exercises and practices to start you on your spiritual path (adventure, journey):
    Baby steps
Step #7 - more for your secret entrance/door

Install a white light shower for your secret entrance/door. This shower should be located at the top of your secret entrance/door so that the white light can flow downwards in to the "ground". Why do you need a white light shower? This helps to cleanse you on several levels so that you are able to use your Mind Studio more effectively, that you're not surrounded with clutter, scattered thoughts, energies from others - all the stuff that prevents you from focusing on using your Mind Studio.

So, when you've reached your secret entrance/door, opened the entrance using a code or key, you then trigger the white light shower to be turned on for several seconds (or as long as you need to remove contamination from your energy fields) before you enter your Mind Studio. Practice doing this - sense the difference between before/after the white light shower.

Keep practicing your muscle relaxation and the first 3 baby steps. When you reach your nature scene, practice taking the steps to your Mind Studio, and test out your code or key to open your secret door, followed by the white light shower. Stay outside of your Mind Studio, then return down your steps and the reverse of baby steps #1-3.

How's your practicing going? Are you finding it easy to do? Let me know your progress or challenges.
