Any update about the fire in Cascade Locks?

It is already October and I would like to know what happened in Cascades Locks? The name is all over the internet but where can I find a detailed/reliable account of what happened and the aftermath?

I call Your attention to the discussion of the fires in and Gatlinburg. Several members of WhiteBlaze blamed the entire catastrophe on cigarettes carelessly disposed of from moving cars. Apparently this was not the case.
