hey im planning to hike new found gap in early october for a few days trip can any one tell me about possible burn bans or anything that deserves a heads up for that area?

And of course, since it sounds like you won't qualify for a Thru permit, you will need to get a permit with reservations for each campsite or shelter you plan to camp at.
