Default Water status - Hogpen Gap to Dicks Creek Gap

Doing this section next weekend and would appreciate any info on water availability, especially at Blue Mountain shelter and Tray Mountain shelter. Thanks. 😊

Last I heard it was flowing without issues the majority (if not all) places in GA at the end of September. We have had a fair amount of rain. I think you will be fine.

Chattahoochee Gap has a small spring down a steep side trail. There is at least one tiny spring closer to Blue Mt. Tray Mt. has a pipe sticking out of the ground that flows good. Several other sources from there on that I didn't check.

Currently, probably flowing well. I was at Helton Creek Falls yesterday and it was up compared to just a week or so earlier. I went Jeep'n with some friends yesterday up Tray Mnt and lots of water flowing off the mountain. You should be good.

I was just there last week (after Nate). Everything was flowing nicely. Trail was cleaned up well, only had to step over a grand total of four trees between Neels Gap and Dicks Creek Gap. Mostly around Blue Mountain shelter.

I actually filled up at the spring just south of Blue Mountain shelter and at the pipe spring at Tray Mountain shelter. Both were fine.
