Default Arc'teryx Atom LT Insulated Hoodie vs. Puffy

I am going back and forth between the two jackets. I have always had a puffy but I have read so many good things about the Arcteryx Atom hoodie. With the hoodie I can hike with but I am unsure of the warmth while not hiking. With a puffy it is not as fun to hike with but I know the warmth will be there at the end of the day. I can only buy one. I plan on hiking Georgia in April and CT during the summer. What are your thoughts?

I'm good with my Atom LT if I'm just standing around down to about 45-50. Provided that it's not windy.

    Translation:
Why bother? I own $15 fleece pullovers that perform better than that. 45-50 degrees, sunshine, calm, 10,000' = T-shirt, shorts and sandals.

I have an Atom LT and IMO it doesn't offer the flexibility of a combination such as a fleece plus shell. For me it is more of an around-town casual jacket.

The Atom LT (size M) weighs 12.8 oz while a Montbell chameece + versalite weigh about 15 oz combined.

    Thanks. Money not spent.
    Cheers!
