    I hate running...what ever floats your boat though it's a very impressive feat. JZ did it carrying all food, no support and a frameless pack...very impressive but the FKT attempts don't do anything for me.

    I typically do not find FKTs that interesting. But this one?

    Seven years ago, Williams committed to his first full marathon — 26.2 miles. He said he was seeking change — going through a divorce and becoming a single dad, struggling with weight, living with his parents and facing debt — and rather than buying a ski pass, he decided to save money by running instead.

    Good on him. He found focus, energy, and healing through nature.

    Mainstream media fumbling their words. Doesn't the article say he both did this on his own and supported at the same time. Either way ridiculous feat and amazing how quickly he took to the running

    only guessing... may be referring to how comfortable it is to carry that much weight in a formless nylon sack on your back
