Hiker's body recovered from Appalachian Trail in Big Island, sent to Medical Examiner

(WSET) - The Bedford County Sheriff's Office says a hiker's body was found Thursday on the Appalachian Trail. Officials say the body was taken to the Medical Examiner's Office in Roanoke. Investigators are waiting to learn the identity and cause of death.
