    Default I've got an itch...

Just finished the Long Trail, literally just finished on the bus back home as I type this, and I've got an itch that I need help solving.

I think, no I definitely want to do another thru hike or a section hike. Of course right now time doesn't allow it since Ima college boy.

So so what am I looking for?
    250-400 Miles
Western United States (like west of Denver, CO)
Able to be hiked in the time frame of early May - late August

Just to note the tallest peak I've ever done is ~6,000 so I'd love to do something over 10,000.
With that said I'd prefer my first 10er to not be something extremely crazy, but I'm willing to try...

Yur looking for the JMT or CT. The other components of the "little" triple crown. JMT is spectacular. Both good in own way. Much of CT is ....lackluster trail in hot dry beetle killed forest. But the above treeline parts are great.

You've got the John Muir Trail. A beautiful 220-ish mile hike through the High Sierra in California. Unfortunately, the permit system seems to be a real pain.
There's the Tahoe Rim Trail at 145(?) miles circumnavigating Lake Tahoe. Joins up with the PCT for a little bit of that interests you. Will also have less people on it than the JMT.
Theres the Oregon Coast Trail at ~450 miles from the WA/OR border to the OR/CA border. This one isn't complete however, and something like 40% is on roads.
Other than that, you've got the entire PCT and PNT to do section hikes on.

    Two for one:
CT + CDT long section hike. The two trails are identical from approximately Breckinridge to the headwaters of Elk Creek near Silverton.
