For a friend, is this GeerTop 1 person tent worth taking a chance on, or is it junk?

Looking at it, I'd say the vents should be higher. 16 stakes seems crazy, and 20D upper material seems thin. (tarptent uses 30d)

Has anyone bought/used this tent? Does it pitch well? Dry during rains?
