    Default cheap inflatable sleeping pad?

Are there any cheap inflatable sleeping pads good for a hammock? or a foam pad that can fold small enough to fit inside of my pack? Can't seem to find any that are wide enough so they will stay in place. i don't need anything fancy, just some flimsy pad will do, but nothing looks good enough for a hammock.

Looks about the same as the Walmart blue closed cell pad. But, the OP specifically mentions that they want a cheap inflatable pad...

Ah, ya missed that. Well, the Walmart pad I have in mind doesn't fit too well inside a pack anyway.

The Gossamer Gear foam pads are quite thin and might fold up for your pack. If we knew what pack you have.
You could trim the foam pad to fit the hammock and facilitate rolling/folding to fit the pack that hasn't been named.

Might seek out a large quilted aluminized windshield sun protector CCF pad like used for large PU's or large windshield mini vans. Cut it down. They cost about $10-15. Some hangers stay away from inflatable pads. Go on the hammock forums. Those folks are nuts about hammock set ups.

In my experiences the problem with the thinner CCF pads that GG has is they are rather grippy, crinkle, or bunch up in some hammocks. In a bridge hammock or if you don't move around in your sleep and you get a good lay they can work though.

Cheap inflatables develop hernias, then turn into ballons.

Yeah, and they do slide around. Just an option I threw out since cheap was emphasized.

That's about it. Cheap and inflatable don't mix very well, certainly not for very long.

I have a pretty old Eastern Mountain Sports pack that my friend gave me for free, it doesn't say the size or anything on it but i'm guessing its 60-70L. It's also heavy like 5lbs. I am leaning towards the Gossamer Gear pad but I saw a video of the hammock version and it looks really big, too big for inside a pack but i'm not sure, it might be good if i trim it. or maybe the regular 1/8 pad will do, i just hope it's enough coverage.

I have the GG pad and use it when I have to use a shelter on short section hikes. Just roll it tight and cram it in your pack. You will be fine
