Default Weather reporting points along the trail

Is there a list of places along the trail that record weather and report historical data?

I'm specifically interesting in the southern stretches, GA, TN, NC

I'm seriously thinking about starting to do some week sections on the AT, or perhaps other nearby trails, so I have been slowly gearing up with some better lightweight stuff. As I was reading the recent thread about puffy jackets, I got to wondering if I would even need one.
I'd be hiking most likely in the summer, June or July..... or a big maybe over spring break timeframe. I know it's hot summer, but I also know that when I've been in the mountains in the summer before it can get cool at night. I never needed a puffy RV camping or hotel traveling, but up on the ridges, maybe so.....
hence my question to look at some historical on trail temperature data.... just to get an idea

My advice? Take the puffy at those elevations.

Having a Puffy is a good idea, doesn't have to be much of one for mid summer in the south. It can get chilly up at 5,000 feet on a clear night.

I've been looking for weather in October for the trail in Massachusetts.

Wish I could find that as easy as current weather.

perfect for through hiking. Not so much on a flip flop or a section hike.
