Can anyone show me the hostel please?
I'll need a place to clean up and $60 bucks at JellyStone is against my religion.
Thanks for your help.

have you tried calling them?
Meridian CG which is like $20/night is right down the road from Rd 68 junction. Dont know all the available amenities but do know they had running pulic water. MIGHT have showers but doubt it. The CG is on a wide shallowish creek. Wash clothes at the laundromat. I rinsed off in the nearby same stream near a Railroad bridge. Stealthed cowboy camped twice near the liquor store after first buying something then politely inquiring. Asked an Officer once in the same parking lot after telling him I was thru hiking the CT and also OKed it for the night. I hesitate saying this publicly though as it shouldn't be depended on for all. Supplemented with a small resupply, got dinner at the OK Chinese reastaurant, and left in the morning both times.
I'm not positive if Lynnwood now has a hostel or not. I thougtht they just had rooms and maybe cabins.???
Hey, it's all Mr. SaltySacks fault. And an article I read on the internet.
Push comes to shove I'll call them.
In the meantime Salida is looking most useful.
Thanks y'all.

Bailey is so close to beginning or ending a CT thru. I go into towns to see what I can see to expand what it means to do a thru-hike. Why are you anticipating Bailey for a stop?
I won't be setting foot on the CT. I just need a budget friendly place for a night and a shower. I would stay in a campground if I could find one in Colorado similar to the Rio Chama RV Park in New Mexico. Unfortunately, everything within a 100 miles of Denver is quite budget unfriendly.

Another piece of the puzzle. Leadville Hostel.

In Breck two good hostels. One I've stayed at several times is the Fireside Inn centrally located within a walk of pretty much everything GREAT for an older geezer. One proprietor Andy is from England once in the RAF. Both the husband and wife are very good conversationalist. The only downside I'd say is the limited available kitchen(microwave though) if you expect to emulate Bobby Flay. MANY above avg eateries within a short walk or two grocery stores. Breck can be a bit haughty toity so expect a wide selection of prepared and microwave food at the grocery stores and umpteen restaurant options.
Sorry the dispensaries have moved to the outskirts of town. Might stop in to see what's possible with controlled legalization. Not to get off topic but high CBD % containing cannabis and no or super low THC content of tinctures, edibles, concentrates, and of course smokables can medically address aches. That's medically clear despite any pro or anti rhetoric. This paragraph contains legal info as it applies to legal use in CO. PLEESE keep anything else regarding other use off the board.
A newer hostel that I'm yet to experience that the owners started a thread here on WB maybe 2 yrs ago or so that I will check out in the future is the Bivvi Hostel. http://www.thebivvi.com/ Look for the thread here as I think the owners were offering a discount
See if either of these are acceptable. If you look I'm sure you'll find MANY hostels closer to Denver. Off the top of my head I can think of maybe 6 others.
Leadville Hostel is simply one of the best run hostels I've ever experienced in two stays the last being 2 yrs ago. Leadville is very different town though compared to Breck. I haven't been there since it was up for sale and maybe changed hands. Lville is like one or two ranges over Tennessee Paas from Breck.
Thanks Dogwood!
Frisco-Breck aren't on my itinerary.
Sorry to be so secretive, but I'm purposely guarding a personal favorite place.
I'm just looking to keep costs down and freshen up after a 2-3 day drive up from Texas.
