    Smile Titanium Esbit Stove Kit

This is my latest DIY kit. I like working with Titanium. Cuts easy with scissors and welds nice with Harbor Freight spot welder.

The one piece stove with Brian Green Esbit Tray that has bread pan corners, aluminum storage container, base plate and plastic lid weighs 31 grams.

What thickness of titanium? I bought some Ti film once to play with building wind screen / pot support combo like that but it was way too flimsy.

The Titanium is .005 thickness. It was an interesting challenge to create the bread pan corners of the esbit tray.

I'll try and have some kits put together tomorrow. I have 8 stoves made, just need to give some thought to what items to include in a kit.

    That's a nice setup...

Do you have any of these left?

Also, which HF spot welder are you using for the Ti?

Thank you for your interest and compliment. I don't have any left. I'll have more next spring when I return home. I gave away the 8 that I made so they could be field tested. No feed back about them yet.

The welder use was the HF 110 volt model.

Nice kit, I had a similar setup with out the plastic lid years ago. Not sure why I got away from it as it worked wonderfully. I do recommend you precheck the intended trail for places it can be used.
