    I bought the Bivy when I got the tarp. Thought it would be nice to keep the bugs off me. Got in it one time and was too hot. But I am a pretty big guy, 6'2" and 230 lbs. But if you are claustrophobic at all I would not recommend it.

    Don't beat yourself down. PA is tough in the heat and humidity. Juse compelted Lone Star Tr and Ozark Highlands Tr thus with barely being able to finish the OHT beause of the heat, humidity, poison ivy, ticks, ticks, and more ticks, and the endless rocky narrow up and down tread.
