Default Duck shoes was an understatement!!

The Killington to Hanover trip became Hanover to Glencliff instead. Slo-go'en suggested duck boats would be needed. That certainly proved to be true. Especially after Tuesday's all day rain! Miles and Miles of ankle deep mud. That being said, that stretch of trail made for a very enjoyable three day get away. The nights stay and shuttle at the Hikers Welcome Hostel was the icing on the cake. Great group of folks. This year's caretaker Odie put on an excellent bonfire!... Stop by to learn his secret formula!... Also take a look at his project at hikers yearbook.com..Another excellent adventure!..The view from Smarts Mountain firetower and Hexacuba shelter we're highlights.

Sounds like a duck boat might have been useful. You did all that in 3 days?
