:banana Camping location with best fishing within a day hike from parking?

Im trying to find the best fishing spot on the california trail that is within a days hike of parking ( preferably closer) and doesn't require a pass to a park and the best tasting filtered water and also nearby a town with a good psychiatrist and walmart or dollar store preferably northern california. Also im looking for a girlfriend. And see you on the trail in two weeks. Thanks.

Have you contacted the Disney Corporation? What you need is My Own Private Fantasyland.
But seriously. There are many trailheads along the Continental Divide that meet your fishing and camping requirements. Hopefully they will stay anonymous.

From Vincent Gap a trail heads down to the East Fork of the San Gabriel River. A few miles of talus hopping along the river gets you to the Narrows, filled with native rainbows.
