    Really awesome since bears only have 1 or 2 cubs. I've heard that black bears will adopt other cubs and raise them.

    I've seen a mom with triplets in the SNP. Five has got to very rare.

    I walked up on a mom with triplets in New Jersey last July. She didn't budge from staring me down while I passed.

    I've come across a Mama with 4 cubs in Waywayanda State Park NJ.

    I saw a momma bear and 2 cubs in CA. They went up a tree just like that to avoid the people on the trail.
