    Great pictures. I am hoping to do that section later this year. How tough was the initial climb from rt60 up the top of Bald Knob?

    Not too bad. I had fresh legs, but I was sorta zoned from a long car ride to Rockfish and then the additional hour shuttle to Buena Vista. I think I did about 14 or 15 miles that afternoon. It was a tough afternoon but I don't remember the first climb to be real tough. The toughest part of this hike was the descent down The Priest. Three Ridges was tough too. I push pretty hard -- I did this hike in two nights. Doing it in 3 or 4 would obviously make it a lot less strenuous.
