Default Thru hike the Foot Hills trl. Apirl or May

I would like to find a partner to thru the foothills trl with. The end of April or first part of May, around 14 to 20 mpd . I would like to look around and take it all in no rush. I hike with a very well behaved and trained dog. I'm flexible on mileage and dates.P1010806.JPG

No one? I'm flexible about MPD and the dates. Great trail, great time of the year. If you are thinking about it or sitting on the fence hit me back.

Mitch, I've done this trail a couple of times, you'll enjoy it. IMO, you already have the best company you could ask for, wish my dog was still able to hike with me.

Hi Drybones, he is good company . We did a 23 mile day last month on the Pinhoti and still wanted to play at camp. Not bad for 8, But I know the day will come.

Hey Mitch, I've been kicking around the idea about doing this hike as well but probably couldn't make it out until Memorial Day weekend due to some work stuff. Which direction are you planning on going?

Hi molliesmaster, it doesn't matter to me. If you start in Oconee your first camp could be alone the Chattooga. If you start in Tablerock you do the bigger climbs first for whatever that's worth.
