My experience with Asolo boots has been pretty good overall. I've used the Asolo 520's for years and have not had many problems with slipping. I have found once the 520's tread wears down considerably at about the 900 - 1100 mile range they start to lose some of their grip on wet surfaces. Of course wet roots or wet moss covered rock will defeat most any boot or shoe. The Asolo lightweight boots and low/mid shoes I have not tried so they may be different.
