Made a bunch of boxee bags tonight.
They are looking awesome. What do you plan on putting in them?

Not sure yet. The long one was originally inspired by the dream hammock gear sling.
Strong work !
Can you please provide some details about the construction?
Where did you get the materials?
Those zippers look to be heavy duty.
Thank you

I got all of the materials locally. Heavy duty rips top and polyester thread for durability. They have black, white, and tan as well in the ripstop. The boxee boxes are built like the ones from dream hammocks. He has a tutorial on YouTube. I do a couple of things differently from that video to clean it up a bit.
I am planning to sell a few if anyone is interested. Still working on sizes and pricing.
looks like a really nice but oversize travel toiletry/shaving kit bag. very nice
They look really nice. Turn them inside out so we can see the seams please. Who was your sewing teacher and what brand of machine?
Self taught and I use a brother xl-3010

No but now I have a new project.
Thank you. You do nice work If I keep at it, maybe my seams will look like that
I made my first one tonight with a interesting liner.
This is called dragon scales(purple) by OutdoorINK. This will be the liner.
The outside I did in Orange.
The zipper is water resistant.
I plan on putting all of my water filters inside this bag once I cut the corners to make it boxier.

Nice work!!!
hey, that's the same machine I have..... I do ok for little jobs, but nothing like that. at least I now now that it's not the machine
I am No expert but your precision sewing and quality of work is amazing.
I learned to sew at an early age, I worked part time in a Sail shop. I also used to make custom covers for wheelchairs for special needs persons. I once worked on Christopher Reeves custom wheelchair.
I'm still no expert but it was easy to pick it back up after a long break.

Many years ago I had a double needle "Dirkopp" true walking foot machine that I used to sew 1,000 denier Cordura Nylon. I made large bags used to transport rolls of carpeting to trade shows. Bags were 12 feet long and about 1-1/2 feet in diameter. I made them in my garage and sold them to a display company I worked for. I was able to pick up a few extra bucks that way
never did i want to know how to be a seamstress until just now, your work looks incredible.
Good design for micro spikes...nice job!
