    They have now done 1215 miles, 708 from somewhere in Va to Springer, and the rest from Katahdin headed south.

    Glad they are doing so well. Very glad they are avoiding some areas which would be dangerous.

    I met met these folks in the spring near Georgia/ Carolina boarder. Very nice folks and super cute happy baby. I envy the little critters future with such outgoing parents. "Oh the things you will see..."

    They were at Stratton Mountain yesterday. Two friends who are Thru hiking just posted a picture with them.

    Default In Vermont last month.

    I met them on the trail last month when I section-hiked all of Vermont. Appeared to be a super-nice couple, happy, healthy, and the baby was great. They were SOBO and I was NOBO, so we only chatted for a very few minutes.

    At least, I think this is who y'all are talking about.

    That's them, the Quirin family. Trail names Kanga, Roo, and Sherpa.
