Default Class of 2017 YouTube channels

I look forward to following the progress of thru hikers each year. Feel free to add a link to your channel or the channels you are following here so that we can all share in the journey. I will occasionally post the updated consolidated list.

I have been following 2 and am up to date on both. Both have been good ones to follow.

Reddmage - slow and steady. Great attitude and having fun. Great perspective for someone new to the long distance hiking world. lots of trail walking footage with commentary.

Early Riser 72 - That dude is squared away. Former military. High Speed. Solo. Good tips, tricks and advice. Amazing! (those that have watched his channel will get that)

Kiwi Wandering USA is a good one. He gives lots of trail reports, reports on shelters and water sources. Very informative if you are planning on hitting the AT anytime soon.

Here's a link to mine when I attempted my 1st thru (and a few sections included with my brother). I might be using this page for this years upcoming thru, even though it's extrememly slow to upload to. There's a discussion tab on there where I posted my daily thoughts.

OOPs, yes early_riser_71 I remember him saying his age and then knew there was a number behind his handle. I just couldn't remember 71 or 72... I look forward to his updates.

I think this guy is funny! Warning: he uses some salty language at times. I like how honest he is about everything and you can see him progressively learning as the videos go along. I'm still not caught up yet but watching them in order when I get the chance.

Any others you've come across yet? I've found a couple channels of folks who haven't started yet but that's about it.

I just started my videos, only two so far, I haven't left yet but I will be in the next day or so. I've been checking out other peoples videos and it's getting me even more excited to get after it. Good luck to everyone!

    Hiker Feet
    Chris Goes Outdoors
    BlessingofAdventure
    TwoTentsDown
    Meg Greenlee
    Happy Hikers
    Yay Adventures

Out of all of the above, I believe Hiker Feet is the only one who is already on trail.

I've been watching two women. After a few miles both seem to be falling apart. Their problem appears to be excessive weight and knee issues. Sad
