I would encourage everyone to go to Meg Greenlee's channel and offer her a word of encouragement. She was suppose to start her NOBO this Friday but announced today that she is having to postpone it due being diagnosed with cervical cancer.

They on youtube. Need to look for the links. The one is a pretty nurse and the other wants to video document her journey with her friend. Both appear to be struggling. On appearances alone I don't think they are going far unless they make a paradigm shift.

    Here's my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzd...Kt5nHH5UWpOyxA

I am heading down to Springer on March 24th. I will put out my gear list video later next week, or right before I leave (just sent my clothes to InsectShield, have to wait for them to come back).

For those still planning, and want to do an early start next year or the year they go, I interviewed Nate from Between the Blazes. He had some good tips.

    Thumbs up jekerdud!
Also been watching Early Riser. He seems to be spending more and more time in shelters and eating pop tarts.

Me as well. As soon as I saw his loadout I had a feeling I would like his trip. Keeping it light, but not reducing his comfort just to count ounces. Also, as a fellow vet I get a lot of his though process and motivation.

Meg is my girlfriend, and appreciates your thoughts! We are now planning to do a SOBO in Mid/Late June. Can't keep her down!

Anyone on the forum know Early_Riser_71? He's usually good about posting, but has been radio silent for several days now since he landed in Damascus.

(Not that I'm worried per se, but as a vet myself, we never leave a brother behind.)

Early Riser just posted. I think that storm must have kept many of them occupied with sheltering then moving as much as possible. I'll keep an eye out for some of the others as well.

    Good luck with the SOBO.
