Default Big Agnes Fly Creek UL2 Tent with Factory and Tyvek Footprints

I am offering for sale a Big Agnes Fly Creek UL2. The tent has been lightly used and is in excellent condition. No rips, tears or fray marks. Sale includes two footprints, a BA factory footprint (a $60 value) and a precise cut Tyvek footprint. The BA footprint is the same material as the tent floor and allows the tent to be set up in fast fly mode, which is great for setting up in the rain (set the fly up first then set the tent up under the fly). In very rocky conditions, I recommend using the Tyvek footprint, as it provides better protection.

This is a great thru-hiking tent, especially for a solo traveler. The extra space over a one person tent is a godsend for extended trips and when you're stranded due to weather. The tent and stakes weigh around 37 ounces and the footprints are 5 ounces each.

$250, free shipping in the conus.

    Thanks for looking!

Looks like a great deal. What motivates you to sell?

The Section Hiker just did a write up on the tent, and his review is spot on (both pluses and minuses).

Reeeeeeeaaaallllly want this...... I have the UL1, but the 2 would be so much nicer. Let me look at my finances and see if I can afford it or not. I head out in 2 weeks for my thru-hike so I don't know for sure

I believe that SectionHiker review was done on the newer version from Big Agnes,
the BA Fly Creek HV UL-2

isn't the tent for sale the older version Fly Creek UL2?

they did some redesign of the Fly Creek UL1 and UL2 with the newer "HV" model, to give the tent(s) more interior volume ...

Yes, you are correct in that the tent I have for sale is the older version. The overall review is applicable as the tents are very similar. On the hv model, they steepened the pitch to provide more vertical walls.
