    Default SMD guylines

My Deschutes tarp came with webbing straps to guy out the tarp. Have people found these nice to use? The few times that I have tried them they seemed really simple but I am considering cutting them off and using reflective cord instead. The cord would add versatility/length and would be visable at night.

    Thanks

They work fine for me . I never needed them to be longer. Had to pin it all the way down for snow ,rain or cold. I put a trekking pole in the tent peg that holds the front door so I don't trip over it. That's if I bring 2 poles.

The webbing works great for me. Not one of the things I would change on my Deschutes.
