    Watch for those blue trip wires. That's the first I've seen blue guy out cord. He's all color coordinated now. Bet he has a coordinated blue sleeping bag and pack too.

    tyvek tape is just packing tape with tyvek printed on it.

    Tyvek tape sticks better to tyvek than regular packing tape.
    Tried it today.

    Im trying to tyvek tape the screen to the tyvek.
    Strength tests so far are good.

    A frame with the foot being lower.
    Kite tyvek.
    Bug netting off amazon 450 holes per inch, but I'm not counting.
    Im reinforcing the ridge and corners with mason line.

    Trying to decide on a closure, other than zipper, to save weight.
    Maybe buttons?

    I'll post pics when it doesn't look like it belongs to a cartoon hobo.

    Ifn you googles tyvek tarp, youll get a plethora of tyvek constructions, including a tyvek covered geodesic dome .

    Default Tyvek horror story request

    Is there a reason for not using Tyvek 1460? Since it's soft and uv protected, it sounds like a better material for a tarp.

    Another question for anyone who has made Tyvek tarps for hammocking; do you reinforce the center of it for your ridgeline?

    I use a Tyvek footprint even though slightly noisy
