I just updated, Feb 25, my trip plans for this loop hike in the Meetup section, click on the link above to read it.

At least 2 of us are doing 8 days, 7 nights in GSMNP, on the NC side of the park with just a small bit along the AT with no shelter stays. Just posted first 4 day, 3 night loop, and will be working on another loop in the next week to post. No car shuttles needed unless plans change.
