    Default Linville Gorge Wilderness ????

I was planning to hike 4 or so day in the Gorge starting Thursday, got to wondering if there may be camping restrictions due to fire hazards, also would like to know the water sources with water on the ridge if possible.....anyone have any current knowledge of the area...thanks?

Its smoky here in Morganton. Air quality is getting worse each day. No close by fires to the gorge though. But there is a fire ban issued for the area. Only stoves are allowed. Just contact the USFS office in Nebo for fur ther info. (828) 652-2144
