Default Pinhoti Trail - New Shuttle Service...sort of

    Pinhoti Trail Shuttle

My sister and BIL have been shuttling me and my daughter for the past 3 years.
Last weekend I mentioned that the area needed more options for hiker shuttles.

My brother in law is super interested and yesterday picked up all required maps.

If anyone is interested please contact me.
I don't want to post his phone number quite yet.

I may contact you a bit later. I want to take my wife on some hikes along the Pinhoti but until she gets into hiking shape we can't do any big loops. Shuttle service is greatly needed in that area.

Tried to message but your box is full. Is the shuttle still happening? Looking to knock out a few sections this winter.

Just got a ride from this fella yesterday for our group of 4. He's legit. Even brought a cooler of cold waters for us. We'll be using his service all winter I bet.

We have also used this shuttle. Unfortunately my hiking group had to make an emergency exit off the trail on day two of a five day hike due to a knee injury. They were at the trail head within an hour after placing a call for help. I can not express how satisfied we were from beginning to end with the shuttle service. I have been given the okay to post his name and number. Its Dan Smith (256) 453-8947
You will not be dissatisfied with the service. He covers all sections of the Pinhoti Trail

Swisscross, your BiL still shuttling? I'm looking for a ride from the ranger station at FS-500/Heflin area back to Flagg Mountain early Tuesday morning 9/4.
