Default Greasy Creek Gap to 19E

I am hiking Greasy Creek Gap to 19E next weekend. Does anyone know the status of water? I have read that it has been pretty dry.
Also, there are 4 of us hammock camping. Are there sufficient campsites to accommodate hammocks? Thanks!

I cannot speak for certain about that section, but having done Hot Springs to Sams Gap earlier this week, many of the SOBOs I met said that north of Erwin water got harder to find. They did not indicate how far north that lasted.

Don't know about water (it's been very dry).
But I've hammocked in a few places on that route without worry.
