So I'm tentatively planning to do the at this spring. Depending on finances it will be early spring nobo or later Sobo. I'm open live close Ish to Katadin.

I'd do winter but concerned with sobo after the 100mile wilderness. Mane and whites winter are normal to me. I have done both the last two years prepping for Denali

to Whiteblaze! You'll enjoy the hike whether NOBO or SOBO, but if you happen to be leaving NOBO in early March, we'll probably be seeing each other. So much to do and 5 months is going to fly by...

GO NOBO. then you are "hiking home" every day. Unless you are running away, then hike SOBO.

I'm partial to NOBO as you're "hiking with Spring" (which is neat to see the changes) and the weather is better. You also don't have to battle black flies! Lastly you can say "I'm just walking home!"
