Tigger do you work for chickhomony riverfront park? my brother in law said you were starting about this time.
Ok, I read up on the approach trail and now know what it is. I had never heard of it before and only knew of the 1 mile there and back to the "start". I will NOT be doing the approach trail. My wife will be doing the 1 mile with me and if I tried to get her to do the 8 miles of approach and then back on her own she would kill me Plus like many have said is it not long enough already?!?

I will be starting my hike on the BMT and picking up the AT at either Fontana or Davenport Gap.
Congrats to both! Getting out of the service was sweet sorrow but sometimes it's nice to not have to do PT every morning Getting married to your best friend is even better, I did that about 10 years ago and even though we have our disagreements it's always worth it in the end!
